What is a Skin Pen treatment?
SkinPen/Micro Needling is clinically proven to improve the appearance of facial acne scars for people aged 22 and above for all skin types. SkinPen triggers the skin's remodeling process by creating thousands of tiny micro-injuries in the dermis, generating new collagen without causing the formation of scar tissue.
What will I feel?
You will arrive and have a numbing compound applied to the area being treated. Once numb a delivery of needles in a pen will be applied 3 or more times in one area and at depths that are pre-determined by what is being treated. Expect pin prick bleeding during this treatment. Once completed a cool application of non scented ointment is applied and rubbed in. Don't be surprised by your skin shedding in the coming days as that's normal!
How many treatments will I need?
Typically a session lasts from 10 to 20 minutes. One to three treatments are usually sufficient to see results. Additional treatments may be recommended, especially for excessively sun-damaged skin. Your skin care consultant will advise you
What is a Chemical Peel treatment?
Chemical peels involve the application of a chemical solution to the skin, causing controlled exfoliation and removal of the top layers of damaged skin. This process promotes skin renewal, collagen production, and the growth of healthier, smoother skin, reducing the appearance of acne scarring.
What will I feel?
During the application of the peel, you may experience a warm, tingling, or itching sensation. This typically lasts for a few minutes and resolves once the peel is neutralized/removed.
How many treatments will I need?
A series of 4 treatments is typically recommended, however additional sessions may be required. Your treatment provider will be able to provide you with a treatment plan best suited to your needs for ideal results.
What is a Laser Genesis treatment?
The Laser Genesis is a no-downtime, year-round aesthetic treatment, designed to help reduce the overactive sebaceous oils, pores and superficial scarring associated with acne breakouts.
